What Home Means To Me

A home means that I can be trusted. It is cozy and Home means family and love and comfy. A home is not a house, a house is already there, but a home is what we make. You feel happy and protected when you are in your home. It means a lot for me to have a safe and cozy home, because I had to leave my country where I was born and where I grew up, to live a better life. I had to start a new life in a new country, and I had to leave my best friends, my family, and my friends. It is hard to learn a new language that I didn't know a lot, but I didn’t give up. After one year that I was in Canada my best friends visited me, that one week that they stayed it was like I was back in my first home with my family and my best friends. That’s why I love my new home because it is where I feel safe and loved. You get protected from the cold, the rain, even the wind and sun. My home is where my sister is, my mom and my dad. I just live in a basement apartment, but it is where I live, that’s why it is so important for you to love your home.
