A Home is Not A House
A home is not a house. A house is just walls and rooms. A home is a warm place, it's safe and welcoming. It's a place where the light shines and where the family gathers. Love runs through every wall.
As my grandpa laid on his deathbed, through his mind ran the memories that he and his family made in their home. All the laughs and joys of memories that are found in his house. The first times, the last times, the best times.
Home is with the people you love. The people that make you, yourself. I mean who doesn't want to feel like that? People sometimes don’t even have homes. A home is a blessing that God bestows on us and gives us. A home is one of the biggest blessings on earth. A gift that some people don’t have. The people who help, who give and build homes are saviours. Each home brings a little bit of community together. And together we can help each other live a better life! That is what a home that means to me.
