Not all houses are homes
My home means a lot to me
You may think a home has to be a house
But there’s a difference
A house can have lights at night
A house can be a huge building of white
But nothing compares to a HOME
A home isn’t just bricks and tiles
It’s much more
A home can be gentle and friendly
A home can be sweet like candy
In my home, I will never be alone
I will always feel
Safe and loved
BUT in a house
It’s only where you live
In my home I find
Kindness
But in a house
it can feel cold and dark
In my home
I can learn to be me and love me for who I am
A home can be anywhere
And mine is in my HEART
Thank you, Habitat for Humanity for making homes and supporting the community.
