In My Home

In My Home By Owen Lau A home is not a house, a house is a place. A home is where love is, it gives you a place to live. A house is just a shelter, but a home has your family and belongings. Upstairs I have my room, my brother’s room, our parents’ room, and our dad’s office. Let me tell you about my room. I have a bookshelf packed with books, pokemon cards, and lego builds. My bed is a double bed with Star Wars sheets. It’s beside a bean bag and a lamp for reading. The main floor has the living room, the family room, kitchen and the dinning room. Let me tell you about the family room and the kitchen. The family room has the tv, couch, coffee table and my nintendo switch. The kitchen is where we spend time together. Eating meals, baking cookies, cooking food, making homemade ice cream and wrapping dumplings. One of my favourite foods to eat in the kitchen is a smash burger with a double patty and cheese. The basement is like a lego gallery. On one wall there is a row of shelves filled with our lego builds. There’s a door beside the stairs that go under the stairs where our toy kitchen is. There’s another room with glass doors at the end of the basement which is filled with other toys like transformers, magna tiles, art supplies, stuffies, a basketball net, and hot wheels tracks. Lastly, there’s a wall of cupboards for board games and puzzles. These are all the things that make my house a home.
