A Real Place to Call Home

There was a time when I was not in a great home. But I've grown to understand a home should be your safe place. A home is where you should feel cherished. Because of all I've been through I realized that when you feel threatened and scared and there's abuse, that is not a place to call home. You should be able to say that you feel safe in a home because that's the most important thing that matters. A home should also be somewhere that you spend time with family and feel safe and protected because I have that now and until I moved I never felt the real meaning of a home so that's what I think is an actual home. I'm lucky enough to have a home and I think that everyone should get an opportunity to have a roof over their head and have heat and food because without all of that it's a struggle to live. Imagine there are some people like me who get to wake up and have a nice breakfast but other people struggle for that, so I think everyone should be able to have food, heat and a roof over their head. So that's what I think about a home.
