Home

“twenty years at last”, Said Odysseus the shores of Ithaca he passed. “Home I've reached it!”, But Odysseus was not the same man when he left, he had to admit. “My wife and son are waiting inside!”, The feeling Odysseus had was bigger than pride. It was the relief of finally experiencing home once more, After ten years of war. The rooms were again filled with laughter, And each with a promise of love ever after. As Odysseus reunited with his family, Everybody was dancing happily. The feeling of acceptance, With no more vengeance. You can smell kindness in the air, With memories to share. Fairness is valid, And opinions are added. “Home is more than a word or a saying, Home is the joy of my family playing. Home is where my thoughts are real, And I'm not afraid to show what I feel.”, Said Odysseus after a delicious meal. A lot of people don’t have this, Those people DID at one point and that feeling they sure miss. Habitat For Humanity please help those peoples woes go away, And let there be love and happiness instead all day! Everybody deserves the feeling of home, For home is where genuine joys roam.
