Home is not a House

Home is not a house, it is not just brick walls or random flooring. Home is a memory where family and friends gather to love and care for each other. When I am at home I feel safe and free. I do not have to hide, I can be my crazy self. Home is not just the inside; it is your backyard and your front yard, where you can run and be free. I have my bed, my pillows and my blankets that make me feel safe. My couch, my chairs, my table all have memories that make me feel safe and happy. I can laugh and have a lot of fun in my home. My home smells of flowers and soap. I have adorable cuddly dogs that make me happy when I am sad. My home is a beautiful place for everyone. You may have a house but a house is not as special as a home.
