Home Is...

Home is fun when I play, With my brother, during the day. I feel at home when I’m relaxed, But when I’m not, I sometimes collapse. The heart of my home is right in the bed, But if you break it, I might drop dead. Home smells like love, with joy and fun, But home is a place, that's worth a ton. I know when I’m home when I feel safe, But when I'm alone I don’t feel much faith. Home is a place, where I have hope, But when I feel threatened, that’s when I say Nope Home is like a city, where wonder awaits, But home is like a school, where everyone has traits. If home could speak, it would say “Stop worrying, just enjoy the day” But sometimes I can’t handle it, and ignore what they say Home is calm, when I rest, But when I sleep, that's the best.
