What is a home?

A home isn't just a square with a dome because there are a lot of other meanings to a home! A home is a place where people sleep, eat, and have fun! Some people don't even get to call anything home, so you're lucky to even call something “my home.” To me, a home means a place of love, peace, and somewhere to cherish long lasting memories. A home is a place of love because you have your amazing family that cares for you, takes care of you, buys gifts for you, and gives you education. Families are important because they love you a lot. Also, toys are another example of love because toys give you a healthy entertainment system. Lastly, your stuff is a good example of love. Even if they’re old or new, you love them a lot. That’s why love is an important attribute of a home. A home is also a place of peace because everyone has their right to have peace in their home. If you didn't have peace in your home, you would feel disturbed in your own home! Also, you would feel very uncomfortable and you would just want to leave. Lastly, without peace, you would have lots of constant headaches and a lack of focus, that’s why without peace you wouldn't feel at home. Another way to define a home is memories, just like how the dome of the home holds everything together, memories hold all the good times together. You should hold onto your memories to make sure they don’t get forgotten and fade away. Also, without memories, you might not remember the good times you have with the people you love. Lastly, memories are a way to know how much people love you around the years. That’s why memories are a lovely way to define a home. That’s why a home is much more than just a square with a dome. That’s also why I think love, peace, and memories are like the three pillars to a home. They help it stay stable. Lastly, just remember how valuable a home is and never take it for granted.
