My Meaning of A Home
Did you know the meaning of house and home don't mean the same thing? A home means it's personalized; you can cherish memories, share love, & connections. The three things I have in my home are my essentials, love, and connections with loved ones.
My essentials have very important meanings in my home. For example, my toothbrush, toothpaste, TV, and my comfy bed. I can't live without my essentials because they make life easy for me. My essentials, such as a shower, also help me be clean. My essentials, like my bed, help me feel secure. My essentials literally make up my house.
I think love is also an important part of a home too! Love means to care for someone, have feelings for them, and sacrifice. Love is important because it makes me feel really touched. Love also allows me to start caring for my siblings. I also believe love is important because it makes me wake up in the middle of the night to get my little sister water. A home is not a home without love.
Connections are an especially important part of a home. Connections help you grow to get close to your community such as family, friends, neighbors and more! Connections are important because you can get help from your family or friends whenever you need! Your family comforts you when you're sad. Finally, you can spend very special moments when you're connected.
My home is not a house because it contains my essentials, love & connections. I think these are three very valuable things in my home. I feel touched with love, blessed with connections, and most importantly thankful for my essentials. My home will always be in my heart!
