The Weight and Light of Home

Home is the weight of a mother’s arms, A haven built with countless charms. It’s the earth beneath your feet, The place where every part of you meets. Home is the light that never fades, The glow in the darkest of shades. It’s the warmth in the winter air, The quiet comfort everywhere. Home is the memory etched in time, The heartbeat of a silent rhyme. It’s where we laugh, it’s where we cry, Where moments, like shadows, drift by. Home is the fire in the hearth that glows, The place where the river of memory flows. It’s where the past and future meet, Where love makes all things complete. It’s not the things we hold or own, But the space we go when we’ve grown. Home is the place that keeps us whole, The keeper of the heart and soul. Home is the bridge between night and day, The place where worries fade away. It’s where the heart beats steady and true, Where every part of you shines through. Home is not in the walls we build, But in the love that’s deep and filled. It’s the light that guides us through the dark, A place where we leave our mark.
