What's Inside A Home

A home is not just bricks, a roof, and doors. Sometimes it's memories inside or your family and friends. But not everyone has a house, or you may have a distant family. There may not be a better option but it's okay. You may have a townhouse, apartment, or a condo. It may or qualify as a house, but the people inside and around can make it a home. I love my home! It's something to look forward to. But my family is one of the main reasons why I love my home! They help me out with schoolwork, help me out with upcoming tests, taught me new food recipes, and how to cook. Besides family there are a few rooms in my house that are special. In all my days, I only lived in one home. Inside my house my favourite rooms are the bedroom, kitchen, and the basement. Today I will tell you why these are so special, starting with my bedroom. My bedroom is covered with paintings and LED lights. My desk would be the messiest part. The most comfortable part would be my bed of course. My bedroom is a place where I can cool down and do schoolwork. That is why I love my bedroom! Up next is the kitchen. It is probably the second most chaotic part. The sink is usually overflowing with dishes after a party, or it is sparkling clean (before a party.) The pantry is crammed with ramen, soda, crackers, and many other yummy treats. There is kind of a sweet and spicy smell drifting through the house. No matter what though, the kitchen is the messiest part of the house, and I like it that way. The basement has to be the loudest most chaotic part of my house. That is where the parties are booming! That or it is just me laying in my hammock and binge-watching Disney +. There is also an art room. Well, it's actually more of an art corner of the basement. I spend my summertime painting there until my interest slowly fades away. It's all mine and it's why it is my second favourite room. In conclusion, a house isn't just a place to live in. It's a place where you can thrive and be who you are. It's where you can make happy moments or sad moments. No matter what, there are people inside and outside your home and those people can make your house a home.
