Home Can Be Everywhere

Imagine a place where there are people with soft smiles on their faces and hugs that can always make you feel forgiven. Anything can be your home, from your best friend to your house and your family, to your art book or a shop, and even your work desk. The meaning of home is where I feel happy and loving, free and peaceful. Working together with smiles on our faces is what brings a happy loving feeling of home to me. These are some of the examples of what makes me feel happy and loving. When it was Halloween, I bring up a piece of cardboard and start making all kinds of Halloween costumes with my dad. Usually, in the car, me and my brother like to tell funny stories and jokes to each other. At night, I draw on the same piece of paper as my mom, drawing all kinds of creative imaginings. Home with my family members is like having an extra set of loving wings for my happy dream boat. Home is what helps me have fun, feeling excited and free to explore. These are some ways l feel free. l feel free when l am drawing, when I’m in nature, forests, creeks and lakes. I feel free when I finish my homework or accomplish a level on my game. I feel free when we go to my grandparents' house. I feel free when we go to the cinema to watch a movie. I feel free when me and my family come back from the mall after eating dinner. I feel free when it's the weekend and I can do all sorts of fun activities. Home is what makes me feel free to express my feelings. Home is a safe space where there are calm and peaceful strategies happening, leading to restful endings. These are some examples of what makes me feel peaceful at home. As I come in, I see my dog lying on her bed, twirled up like a croissant with her favorite toy right beside her, dreaming about what she might cunningly eat from the kitchen table when no-one is watching. I feel peaceful when I’m at a coffee shop, thinking of how calm and quiet that place is. Home is what brings me peaceful feelings and relaxing calmness. Home can represent love and happiness, freedom and peaceful times. In our family we work together to accomplish meaningful goals, creating a feeling of home everywhere we go. Home is where I am free to be me. Home is when I feel calm, in my own personal safe haven. Home is whenever, wherever and however I feel loved for being me.
