The Walk of Home

Home means different things to different people. For some, it’s the house where they feel safe and cozy. For others, it’s a feeling of being loved and happy, or a place where they have special memories. Home can be where you feel like you belong with people who care about you. What makes home special to you? I have a home, neither big nor small. Let’s take a tour of my home. The kitchen is where we cook and bake. You see cutlery, salt and pepper, a fridge, oven, stove, and dishwasher. You can even see plates and bowls. The living room is where the love is felt. It is where memories are made. This is where I game and sit on my comfy couch space, move and have fun. I watch movies or warm my toes by the fireplace. The dining room is where we eat and enjoy company. It is a place where we pray to god and then eat our favorite dishes like tortellini with bread. Mmm, I am so full of burps. The bathroom is the place where you get the most privacy while at home. You can brush your teeth, shower, use the toilet, or wash your hands. You can see toilet paper, and towels too. My bedroom is where I sleep. I think about the stories in my head; scary stories, adventure stories, or soccer stories. You will see a closet, a drawer, a bed and so much more. This place is also where my brain can turn off. Finally, the backyard. This is where I grow plants and vegetables with my Grandma. I practice shooting the soccer ball on the fence. I love being home!
