A House is Not a Home

The difference between a house and a home is that some people don’t feel safe in their house. It could be because of the people in it or the house itself. A home doesn't have to have friends, or family, or any pets. It could just be you. A home doesn't have to be a house. A house can shelter you and keep you warm, but a home is where you can feel safe and be yourself. A house can be loud and chaotic, or it can be quiet and peaceful. A home can be either of those things, but it's also the place that you feel most comfortable in. The things that make me feel comfortable in my home are my dog Wesley, and my mom. The thing is, a home can be whatever you want it to be. It's your choice. A home can be family or it could be a place. If you know someone who doesn’t have a safe place to live, you can help them find a good home and be their friend. To me home is my house and my family.
