The Meaning Of Home

Home has lots of meanings. Let me tell you what home means to me. Home is not four walls and a roof. Home is the people you are with. Home to me is my culture and being with my family. My family has done so much for me that is why they feel like home. My culture is also home to me. I come from India. I used to live with my grandparents because my Mom and Dad didn’t have enough money for a daycare and they were living with my cousins. That’s why my culture is also my home even though I live in Canada. Home is a place where you feel safe. I live with my Mom, Dad, sister and my dog Olive. My Mom comforts me whenever I’m sad and teaches me games from when she was a little girl like me. My older sister tells me about the school she goes to (Valley Gardens) and she tells me about the good and strict teachers. And my dog well…it cuddles and plays with me. Home means lots of things. What does it mean to you? PS. Go Habitat For Humanity
