I Want To Be At Home

I'm lost in the woods , I'm cold and shivering. I want to be at home where I'm warm and giggling. It’s so bare it can't be compared to my cozy home where I want to be the most. I want to go where my heart belongs, not a house with rusty walls. I want to be sitting on my cozy bed, not on this rock that's cold and not soft. It's very cold. It's unlike my home, there's no blankets out here I dream. I'm not myself dreaming of my family portrait on my shelf My hands are shivering my body is quivering I don't like this feeling I'm grieving my family in my home I saw my family, I said happily ,we got in the car and I felt loved knowing I'm going home. I get back home and I feel happy. I jump in my bed, I feel myself again, I snuggle my blankets as I fall asleep happily at my home. Dear habitat for humanity, I'm super thankful that you are raising money for people who don't have homes, so they can make the memories they deserve! I'm so happy I get to donate $10 dollars to help people. THANK YOU!! -Sincerely, Makena Downey
