My Home Is Not Just A House

My home is not just a house it is a place where I can sleep, eat, and have fun with my family but a house is just a shelter that gives you cover and protection but a home is that but cozy, joyful, and warm. My room is a place where I can bundle up and read quietly for hours and hours and hours without any disturbance. Home is walking through the door and feeling a rush of cold air after being outside on a hot summer day. and waking up early on Christmas or easter morning and waking up my siblings and mom to go have fun all morning. In my room, I can play games, sleep quietly, and do homework by myself with very little disturbance. My backyard is a place to eat dinner outside in the summer or to play and practice soccer with my brother. My dining room is the thought of eating dinner and talking about the day with my family. My living room is the glow and smell of a candle burning late in the evening. My basement is the fun of playing video games with my brother or playing board and card games with my sister. My front yard is the fun of going outside and practicing road hockey on a summer afternoon. A home is more than a house a house is just four walls and a roof on top but a home is more than that it is a place with love and kindness and no matter where you are or what you look like home is home and that can never change whether you live in a brand new house or a really old house.
