My Home

Home is where you are most loved To others it's a house, but to you it's your Home You lay in bed feeling safe at Home You return from school to a place you know as Home A House has four walls But your Home has four walls of love You have a Home, but some people sadly don't I am grateful for what I call Home At Home you can embarrass yourself all you want At Home you and your siblings can be silly and playful A Home is where you cry A Home is where you laugh A Home is where you feel your best Everyone is Home, even if you are not in the same room as your parents or siblings You are all Home You can buy a house But you can't buy the warmth of a Home That's what Home means to me
