The Meaning of Home

I feel the tranquility flowing through me while I am on my balcony outside at home. There I will become placid. I would meditate there breathing in and out, in the spring. Sometimes I would hear a Bluejay sing its song. It's heaven out there. I would hear the tree leaves rustling while it was green. Maybe I sometimes would be there for sightseeing by looking at my Grandma's vegetable garden. The peaceful spring breeze, tranquil and warm makes me feel nostalgic of my time when I was 5. I remember making a flower pot, and at 7 years old I made a small pot to grow carrots and a small pot for my pet worms, sadly they died. The living room is the most frantic area because me and my sister play there. We mostly play on our Playstation 5 or 3 and my Nintendo Switch, or watch television. The entertainment that fills me up with ebullience. But still it is fun. It is the second place where the most arguments occur. I once slept on the sofa, ohh the comfiness the sofa provided. I loved it. It felt good. Sometimes I could play on my Nintendo Switch. The games on it are very fun. They make me fill up with joy. The place where most memories were conjured up. I have a robot in the living room which will be competing in a competition in New Brunswick Canada. I love the living room. The kitchen is the #1 place where the most arguments happen, but the place where the delicious food is made alongside the snacks that are held there in the cabinet or the fridge. Me and my sister call the two places secret safes. Our grandma cooks, when it’s almost lunch or dinner, and my sister and I retrieve snacks from the fridge or cabinet, on the other hand I would call the secret safes. Our grandma stops us because at that time she says we will lose our appetite which is true. That's when we call her the guardian of the 7 seas. On school breaks me and my sister watch television while eating lunch. Watching television while eating is not allowed only at that time or we are eating food that isn't home cooked or on school breaks at lunchtime. The family room is a place where fun things happen. It is the place where I keep my four musical apparatuses, the ukulele, guitar, piano, and drum set. My favourite is the drum set. I have been learning drums since 2021 I was 7 at that time. I practice 3 hours a day or more. I am level 3 now. I don’t practice guitar though. I practice drumming whenever I feel like it, which is almost just 15 mins because the piano takes all my time. I am pretty busy these days. I own a turtle. I call her Bob even though she is female, turtles carry salmonella, but they symbolize spiritually tranquility and healing. I am happy to own her. She is 11-12 years old. She doesn’t hibernate and in the winter she doesn’t eat. She makes me happy to watch her eat starting at spring-early fall. She stops when it’s somewhere at very late fall-early spring when the weather is cold. My bedroom is a place where I feel jubilant. I get well rested on weekends except Sunday to Monday unless it's a holiday. In the future I will make my room better looking. But that’s in the future not the present, but it will come to be the present someday. My bed is looking good now. I’m thinking if I should make a mini gym and office there. I sometimes bring my Nintendo Switch up there to play on it. Between Spring - summer season I open my window to breathe in the fresh breeze, it makes me feel tranquil and placid. It’s just like my balcony but in my room. Even though I don’t meditate there I still feel calm.
