My Home

My home might not be the biggest or the most impressive but it is home to me. My home is a beautiful building. There is a park right across the street and my room is a soft teal color and down the hall is my moms room. Down stairs is my wonderful kitchen where my mom makes delicious meals and makes sweet desserts. In the living room we have a comfortable couch and a big TV and lots of fun board games. When we go outside in the winter we bundle up and go in the backyard with the dog to play. Sometimes we even go skating,but in the summer we go to the park and have picnics in the backyard. When I take my dog out sometimes we go in the backyard and throw a stick and by the time I get home my mom is waiting for me. We chat about our day at school and work. My home has familiar smells and sounds like when I walk in and smell the amazing smell of my moms cooking or the sound of music or the TV playing a movie. Everybody's home looks different in their own way in my opinion, my home is the best because it is one of the first places I saw I may not know what your home looks like but it is home to you and I think that it is a wonderful place and if you think about it if you have a home you are incredible lucky because some people don't have a home some people are homeless or they have a house and a house is not a home.
