Meaning of Home

A house might have walls, a roof and a warm bed but a home has things that you need but can’t see, like love, laughter and they are accepting. The first thing a home has is that it’s accepting. In a house you might be judged for doing the things that make you the person you are. But in a home you can be whoever you want to and be accepted.In a home you also don't have to fake anything you can be sad, cry, be mad or be happy and everyone is ok with it. I know in my home when I cry I get comforted and they accept how I feel and they are never the reason I cry. My friends also love and accept who I am, which to me also means Another thing that makes a house a home is Love. In my opinion love is the best thing a home can have and you can show it in the littlest ways or the biggest like being there for someone or giving them a warm hug full of love and care.Buying them gifts to giving compliments, love is the biggest and most powerful thing on earth. Some ways me and my family members show love in our home is by helping them while they're sick, making cards and drawings and reminding each other that we are loved. Our friends also love by loving us the way we are and not putting us down. Finally, my last point is laughter. To me laughter makes me feel warm and cozy inside.I think laughing is a form of medicine for the blues and downs. For me laughter cheers me up like if my friend makes a joke it cheers me right up. And if my family starts laughing at anything I feel like I'm in a giant bear hug. And the whole building fills with the sound and it sounds so sweet. In conclusion, my home is the best! But also my family makes me feel like a home doesn't have to be in a building; it can be the people within that building who are your homes and those are the best kind of homes.
