Home Is Where Love Is

Home is where I like to be. It’s where I see everyone who means the most to me. Fresh baked cookies, and muffins too. Baking with my mom is something I love to do. Playing with my sister gives me so much joy, as we always play together with our toys. Home is where I feel safe and warm. It’s where hugs come at me in a swarm. When I’m having a bad day, I know my dog will come my way. Doggy kisses and cuddles too, makes me feel a little less blue. My cat is always there for a snuggle, when I feel like I have too much to juggle. Home is where I sing and dance. I do these things when I have the chance. It’s where I feel like I can be myself, and where I can take a good book off the shelf. My dad’s pasta is the best. He makes it for me when I get stressed. Bubble baths with lots of foam. I’m so happy to have a safe and loving home.
