A Home is not a House

A home is not a house, it's a place where love comes to fly and dance, It is a place to laugh and love. It is where family laughs and dances. My home is where love and cheer surrounds me. It is like a heart beat of joy and love. But when all that joy and love goes away, it feels like a place of dystopia, war, and sadness. It is horrible. When I go to my bed it feels like a warm hug. I have a nice cup of tea before bed. Waiting in the kitchen, my Dad’s amazing waffles fill the air with their aroma. They are as fluffy as a marshmallow. Having a bubble bath in the bath is like going to the spa. After I go over to my bedroom and get ready for the guests coming. We love to have guests in our home. The main course is turkey, yum! I love turkey, and for dessert we normally have pie. But tonight, we are having chocolate cheesecake. After I get a nice cup of warm tea, brush my teeth, and go to bed. Thank you for listening Habitat for Humanity.
