What Home Means to Me

FAMILY It's where I can be with my family and bond. It's where we can be together, it's where we celebrate on Christmas, birthdays, Easter, New Years and Halloween. It's where my mom, brother, grandma, grandpa and me sleep. When I walk in it's cozy and peaceful. FUN When I go biking, sledding, playing, sports and much more I always come back to the same place, I call It home. It's where I have fun and play but not with myself but with my brother and mom. We play outside and inside we play games, video games, card games, board games and lots of others. It's all so much fun. FREEDOM When I'm at home I can be me, there are not many rules. I can do what I want, no matter what it is, to an extent. Anywhere else there are restrictions but at home you can scream into a bush pretending to be a singer or have pillow fights. It's where you can have fun with nothing holding you back. HAPPY When I open the doors of my home and shut them, I can still feel the warm illuminating sun shining through the windows. It makes me feel at HOME and happy. Home gives me joy and happiness. You can have many homes. A home doesn't have to be a house; it can be anything, anywhere.
