The meaning of home

Home and house two similar words with quite different meanings. House four walls and a roof. But home everything that matters on the inside some things that make home, home are… Firstly, security. And no, I do not just mean a lock on my door. (although that is especially important as well) I mean feeling the safety of being in a secure environment to grow and thrive in. And knowing I will be safe, warm, and comfortable throughout the long chilly winter nights. Secondly, family. And again, not just the people I live with. My family consists of aunt, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. But most importantly my mom, dad, and little brother. The people who sometimes annoy me when they wake me up in the mornings. They are always to pick me up when I fall and keep me grounded. Lastly, encouragement. Encouragement is an important thing in my family. Know matter what the issue or problems is my family is always there for me tell me to keep going and add a lot of effort and progress to complete whatever I am going through. Those are just some of the reasons my home matters to me. Now it may or may not be the same for you but why do not you think about it. What does home to you?
