The Meaning of Home

What do you think the meaning of home mean to you? Because to me it is not just a building it can be many things. But what home means most to me is my family, my friends and being comfortable with the people you hang out with. That’s what home means to me, but of course it could be different for many people. Let me tell you my meaning home. Firstly, and for most home to me is family. Family means a lot to me because they will always be there for me. My Family is my home, and I love them very much. Home would not be the same without them. Me and my family love to do all sorts of things but my favorite is when we have movie night. I cherish those memories the most, and that is a large part of why my family means home. Secondly home is also my friendships. Friends aren’t just people you hang out with, friends are the family you chose. Friends are supportive, loving and kind and great to have when your family is not around. My friends and I have many fun times together and create fun memories. They are another part of what home means to me. Lastly feeling comfortable. Comfort is not just sitting on a couch with a blanket watching tv, it also means feeling happy and safe with the people around you. Feeling comfortable is a warm feeling where you feel free to express your thoughts and feelings. My family and friends help me feel comfortable to share my feeling with them, and this makes me feel better. Comfort is another large part of what home means to me. So, what does home mean to me? In conclusion it’s my family, friends and comfort. Home for others can mean many different things and have many different versions which is why it is such a special thing. They say home is where the heart is, and I can honestly say that it is most certainly true. My heart and home are connected.
