My Home

Home is a place to be inspired and to be more creative each day. It's a place where I can be myself and feel comfortable. It’s more than just four walls, it's where I truly belong. Sounds of home: In my home, you can hear my mom cleaning: the vacuum running, the cupboards opening and closing, and much more. But the most special sounds are the moments of peaceful quietness and the bursts of laughter when my sister and I are getting along. Feels of home: Memories are one of the most important things in a family, but when I think of those memories like the baking cookies with my family I feel loved and safe. Smells of home: To me home smells familiar like the scent of a fresh candle burning on the stove. Also the spectacular smell of my moms cooking like Shepherds Pie. Safety of home: My home is a place to be, when there's a really bad storm. Every time I get upset with drama at school, I feel home is safe like a safe spot! Everyone's home is different in its own unique way. What truly matters is not how it looks but how it feels.
