The home we so need

Not limited to a four-walled building. Home is a haven, a place to retreat, Where safety and comfort harmoniously meet. Emotional bonds create a nurturing space, Allowing us the freedom to give our true selves grace. In the bright kitchen, the parents create, Savoury aromas make taste buds wait. Herbs and spices linger in the air, While warm bread and sweets add comfort and care. In the gentle glow of the morning light, Laughter and love dance, making everything right. Walls adorned with memories, stories untold, Every corner whispers secrets, both tender and bold. In a world of togetherness, with warmth all around, We release our worries in love, and we are found. Gathered at the table, sharing meals and dreams, Each moment is a treasure, bursting at the seams. Here, we flourish with our hearts open wide; In our cherished home, we embrace life with pride. Through storms and challenges, we stand hand in hand, We find strength in each other, and we stand united. As seasons change and time gently flows, Our roots will grow deeper as love only grows. In laughter and tears, through joy and strife, Home is where we flourish and where we enjoy life. So thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for giving to the homeless the home that they so need.
