What Home Means To Me

My home is a place where I can be free, A place where I’m safe and where I can be me. To me it’s not just a roof with four walls, It’s a place with rooms, a chimney, yards and halls. The kitchen for example is a wonderful place to be, With aromas that are pleasant, making you filled with glee. But the tastes of the the foods, that’s what’s the real treat, Each food so unique, with tastes so salty and sweet. Next is the bedroom, just down the hall, Where possible long lost memories dwell, both big and small. With a bed, a nightstand, blanket and lamp, Nothing can replace your bedroom, not even camp. Then there’s the yard, for kids with games to play, With flowers, trees and grass, it’s a very great display! But your yard is something that is for you to share, For so many different animals live in your yard everywhere! Last comes the the living room with books and a TV, Many people say that it’s the best place to be. It’s also a place for board games like Monopoly, For some people, it’s just the best place to be (including me). These are just some things, all that describe home, A place that is just for you to explore and roam. But the best thing about home is not about furniture like a TV, It’s about your family which is your personal company.
