Why A House is Not A Home

Why a House is Not a Home By Sophia Ali A house is not a home because a house can have walls, bricks and paint, but a home can also have all of those things, and more. First, what makes a home not a house is that there is love whenever you're in there. You can always feel that love even if you are in a bad mood or having a bad day. But you can also feel safe there because some people feel that their house is not a safe place. In fact some people think that their schools or offices are way safer. Secondly, houses are just structures that give you shelter, cover, and space and that's what a house really is. A home is what shows your personality and creativity so it makes it feel special, otherwise it will just be a regular house with shelter and all the other characteristics that makes a house a house. Lastly, the garden of a house and a home is different because a home's garden would have the love of the people living in the house transforming the love into the backyard of which they adored ❤. But a house's backyard would just be grass, flowers, trees, and plants. Maybe with a pool and that’s really it. That is why I think a house can’t be a home for all these reasons.
