My Home
My Home
By: Sahana Pahal
In my backyard, everyday I get to play with my dog. My backyard makes me feel happy and calm, because when I run, the grass tickles my feet, and when I feel tired I lay back on the couches and rub my dog’s belly while I breathe in the fresh air.
In my bedroom it’s a place that makes me feel safe from the animals, thunder, and more! My bedroom is also a place where I can just be me, and everyday I like to be with my siblings and play school in my room. But in a house you just have to play with other toys and follow other toy rules.
My family room is a room that makes me feel happy, joyful, and most of all loved. It’s also a place that protects me from the rain, and just hearing my dad tell jokes about everything I say. Also just hearing my mom say, “The cookies are done!”
My home means to me being with my family and friends too. It’s a place that never loses hope and I’m grateful for a roof over my head. Also a family that really loves me and cares about me too. It’s also a place where my family can get together. A home is a place that I will never forget and never leave, and it’s always going to be with me no matter what! I feel happy I have a home for my family to live in everyday. All of these emotions can form as one for everything that I feel about my home.
