My home is not a house

My home is where I feel safe and loved. It makes me feel happy. A house might have bricks and walls but a home can be anything. A home might not be made out of wood or bricks but it can be made out of love and laughter. This is one of my memories. When I walk in the door I feel love filling the air. When I wake up the bright sun shines straight through the window. When I look at the sun I know it is going to be a good day ahead because that is how I feel when I wake up in my bedroom. How my home feels safe to me is like when I fall down and then my mom helps me back up. That was when I felt safe. How I feel loved is when my parents cuddle me with a very soft blanket on a very cozy couch. That is how I feel loved. It felt like when I opened the door and my mom picked me up when I was hurt and cuddled me with a very soft blanket on a cozy couch. My home protects me from danger around me. I feel safe in my home because I have my family with me so keep me safe. When I feel sad, my home makes me feel better by being with all my family. I know I am loved at home because my mom, dad, sister and my brother love me so much because they cuddle me every single day. My home is where I feel loved and safe. That is why I feel loved and safe.
