The Family Home

Home is a place where imagination flies, Soaring through the hopeful skies. Off the school bus, through the door, It’s exactly what I’m looking for. Laughter and family at the end of the day, With all of the joy, there’s no room for dismay. Homes aren’t always buildings, or the place that you’re from. But a home shouldn’t be a place that makes you feel glum. Take chances, make mistakes, and live your life out loud , Homes are places that make you feel proud. Always remember, wherever you roam, If you have a true family, you’ll forever have a home By: Abigail Carpentier, Grade 6, Somerset Consolidated
