My Home Is

Home feels to me like a place of comfort and coziness, a place to eat food, a place to have family reunions and spend time together. It is a place to play together and laugh together. A place to have fun with each other. A place to watch movies and/or tv. My family likes to bring a mattress to the basement to turn the couch into a bed, where we will curl up together. Home is where I am able to have my own privacy and space. Home feels like a place where you get to play with your family. The place where you get to sleep peacefully. A place where my family and I play instruments to create beautiful music. A place where you get to hang out with your friends. A place where you can play sports. In my home I get to practice my soccer skills such as improving my footwork. It smells like both of my mom and grandma's spaghetti, they’re both delicious. A place where you are safe to argue or disagree with family members. I feel good to be at home.
