The One Day Fishing

Home, a person and their home is like a fisherman and his rod, like a bird and the sky. On Monday, Josh was out fishing, and he saw a blue jay come crashing down into the water. He jumped in and swam to the blue jay. He brought it back to shore. The blue jay had an injured wing, so he took it to the vet to get checked. On Tuesday, Josh took him home. “I think I’m going to name you Jet!" Josh exclaimed. “Alright Jet, good night.” On Wednesday, “Jet I'm going to take you to the vet and finally get your wing fixed,” Josh said. On Thursday, “Good morning, Jet!” Josh exclaimed. “Looks like your wing is all better, I made you a home! It's very big. I even made you a friend!” he said as he pulled out a stuffed animal. On Friday, “Good morning, Jet! Jet?” Josh said. “Well, if he is not here, then he is in the sky where his real home is and where he belongs.”
