What Home Means to Me

For me, home is not just a place you go to sleep and eat, it is a place where you go and hang out with friends and family. I love to lay on the couch and watch a show with my family and pets. It is a home full of love, joy and laughter. I love to hang out with my sister and my mom and my dad. Home is a place where maybe you just need to sit down. I love to have sleepovers and go swimming in the summer. I love to play hockey with my sister. We share a hockey net and sticks, it makes me feel special and like I belong because I have something I can share with my family. I love to play football and hockey in the backyard. I love to play baseball in the summer, so I am so grateful for having a backyard to do all of this. I think everyone deserves a place to call home, and a place to call mine with things to call their own. I think that everyone should have a place where their friends or family could come over, and that's why I think that everyone should have a place to call HOME. I love my home. I love the smell of it. It smells like fresh summer mornings and that is another reason why I love my HOME.
