Home

Home’s not just some floors and doors, home is where you give hugs and feel warm, safe and loved. Even if you don't have a house you could still have a home, it might not be a building but where you are is home. Your home is a feeling deep in you, and when you are having a difficult time or experiencing some emotions, your family comes and gives you a hug. That is what home is. Sometimes people don't have houses, maybe they live in a tent or on the street, but they do have a home. Even if they forget about it, home can be wherever you choose it to be - it could be a pet, stuffed animal, house or blanket that you cuddle at night. Home is where you feel happy. Home is the community you live in and your neighbours and loved ones. Your home is where your feelings are. A house is where you are happy, and when your home meets your house you feel joy. When you think you're running away from home, you're not, you're just leaving your house. Imagine you just moved into a new house, you like the house, it is nice, but it is missing something, and then you remember - home, your family gathered around eating dinner. Home, watching a movie eating popcorn with your pet. Home, going to sleep and feeling safe and loved. Home, snuggling with your pet. You miss home, and all its feelings but someday you and your family will adjust and turn your new house into a HOME. (HOME IS A FEELING)
