The Meaning of home

What does home really mean? Home isn’t just a place with four walls and a roof, its were I have a roof over my head. And where I can speak with no judgement and where I can feel safe and loved. Now I will explain what home means to me! Firstly, the importance of home. There are so many important things about home, but the thing I find most important is having a roof over my head. It keeps the rough weather out of my home and keeps me and my loved ones warm even though everyday people keep building houses there still aren’t enough homes for everyone. I really hope habitat for humanity can help those people. Secondly speaking with no judgement. Imagine every time you spoke you got judged. How would you feel? People get judged all the time by certain people sometimes or just by the way they look possibly at home. Homes are supposed to be warm and cozy but the one thing lots of people want if they don’t have it, is to feel included. When you feel included, you feel like you can talk to that person and they won't judge you they will do their best to just comfort you, well at least that’s what my parents’ try to do. I love being able to share my feelings and opinions when you feel that way you feel like you belong! That is why I am so thankful to have people who do that for me and lastly, I am so thankful to be able to share my part while having family discussions! Lastly, feeling safe and loved! My home is warm and safe with people to keep me safe. I am verry thankful to halve this sort of privilege. Feeling safe feels like being wrapped in a warm blanket! I love the people who keep me safe and happy! I love every one of them in each different way! My dad always said the only reason I do this is to keep you safe. Now that I think about it I always being mad when he said that now I just find it funny! I am so grateful to be able to have such a strong bond between me and my family! This is why I love my home and loving your home and the people in it makes you feel safe and loved! So, in conclusion home is not just a place with four walls and a roof its where I can feel loved and safe from feeling loved and safe to being able to speak with no judgement and lastly having a roof over my head. Wherever I go home is where my heart will stay!
