Home

A lot of people have houses but not all people have homes. I am going to describe what home feels like to me. Home feels like a warm place with people who love me care for me and protect me. It is a place I feel safe. A house is a place where you can stay and there isn’t anyone who loves you and cares for you it is just a place you can stay. At home, I can hear giggling and conversations people saying I love you with smiles on their faces. It warms up my heart. A house is a quiet place with bland colors and boring furniture. It is not very welcoming. A home is a place where you can spend time with your siblings drinking hot chocolate and eating marshmallows. It is so much fun. A house is where you sit alone eating dinner in the dining room with no sound all alone. A home is a place where you can smell the dinner your mom is cooking it smells wonderful a nice warm meal on a cold winter night. Some people don’t have homes, so we should be thankful for our homes. That is why Habitat for Humanity is for.
