The Meaning of a Home
The meaning of a home for me is not just a place to stay. It's where I hear laughter and jokes. I'm also welcomed by my dogs and my family. Although I have two homes, they both feel the same in some ways. At one house, I live with my mom and at the other, I live with my dad but I'm loved in both. A home is a safe place to stay. It's warm and cozy. When I walk into my home, it just feels so much better when you can smell the smells you love. Like when my mom lights her candles or when my dad is barbecuing. My homes also have lots of meat that we fished or hunted for. We also make memories in our homes like when we are watching hockey or are sitting at the dining room table eating. A home is unique. At my home, we have deer skulls and antlers. I think Habitat for Humanity is great so that other people can have a chance to make memories in their new home.
