Home sounds like the wind howling at night Like the sound of the laundry machine sloshing around And the soft panting of dogs after a long day of play Home tastes like a bowl of fruit, nice and sweet The spiciness of a bowl of warm chili And the taste of homemade lemonade on a sunny day Home looks very comfy, like a place to relax Like a piece of warm blueberry pie, it’s filled with warmth And a cozy bed after a long day of work Home smells like a warm vanilla candle, lingering in the air Like the smell of a calming cup of tea on a cold day And smells like plants, hung on the ceiling of my bedroom Home feels like getting into a warm, washed bed after a long shower And a long swim after running around for awhile Like finding a good book, and relaxing there
