Meaning of Home

This is my new home and it is very big. My new home is near the school. Inside my home there is a big TV. My dad likes to watch TV and play football. Here is the kitchen. My mum will cook the food here. My mum likes to make pizza, and I like to eat pizza very much. In my bedroom there are four walls. The first wall has many pictures, and my best picture is my dad and mum going to the shop. My bedroom has a big bed and desk, and near the desk I have a chair. The chair is blue, the desk is brown and my bed is white. My mum has some apple trees. When I help my mum I feel very happy, because this is very fun. I like to eat apples very much. Every morning I walk to school and I walk home, and sometimes my dad walks with me. Every Sunday I will go to the park with my mom. For me, the meaning of home is where I live with my family. It is my safe place. It is also where I keep my clothes and other things. It is important to have a home, because it makes you feel comfortable. To be homeless is horrible.Having no home makes sleeping,eating and dressing difficult.In many ways, a home is a part of you.Last year I immigrated to Canada from China, I have a new home and a new life. It will change me. In my new home, I am learning English.This is my new home and reality.It means I will change as a person as I learn more in English. So my new home is a place for my new life. In fact I will learn many new things about life in Canada in my new home. I am trying new food. I am also learning facts about Canada in my homework. When I play piano at home I am learning about music in Canada. As I become more used to life in Canada I will see it as my new home. My goal is to work very hard to become part of Canadian society.
