Home

Home means the time you get to spend with your family like playing in the snow or playing video games with each other and sharing something good about everyday. It is the feeling of being loved and enjoying homemade dinners together while having a conversation with each other. Home is the feeling of being warm after playing in the wet and cold snow and drinking hot chocolate by the fire to warm up. It is enjoying the snowball fights and seeing who could make the biggest snowball contests with my brother that make me feel at home. Home is not just a place, it is also a feeling of warmth and love when we go under the blankets to watch movies and when my mom bakes warm yummy treats for me, my brother and my dad. It is the feeling of joy in the air that fills the room when our other family members come to our house for the holidays. We have long conversations at the dinner table and play lots of fun games together. Home is where I do my homework and check my computer for other things. Home is where we go after school to relax, sleep and get prepared for tomorrow. Home is when in the summer we eat watermelon, play tag, go into the glistening pool and grow stuff in our garden. And when the sun begins to fade away, the sky is very gloomy and we begin to watch a movie with some scrumptious popcorn. Home can bring family and friends together by sharing some similarities even if they are or not blood related. By sharing homemade meals with friends and family, it brings a smile to everyone's face with lots of joy. My home is a very special place for me.
