I love my home

Hi everyone, my name is Lucian. I was born in Cambridge, Ontario, I am ten years old and I'm in grade five. I would like to tell you all about my meaning of home. To begin with, home is a place to have fun. For example, I normally play video games or playing hockey, I find those fun. Playing outside is also fun. You do all of that at home. Secondly, home is a place to feel safe. I always feel safe when I go home because I always feel scared when I'm alone without my friends or family. I consider my friends or family home. Thirdly feeling loved. I feel loved when I’m home because my parents always tell me I love you and it’s kind of obvious that they love me. Number four, home is what you can always come to. When I need somewhere to go to, I always think of home first. I think of home because my family and friends have always had my back, so I go to them. Next, home is a place for family. When I have family coming to us, we don’t make them rent a motel here. We have enough room in our house to let them sleep in our house. Number six, to take weight off your shoulders. When I’m at home I feel very relaxed, so I forget about almost everything bad; and remember everything good. Lastly, pets. When I come home from school or vacation my two cats are always waiting at the door for me. They snuggle me until they roll over and show me their belly.
