Habitat for Humanity

I think that everyone should have a home, that is why Habitat for Humanity has one of the best goals because they are making a better world and that is why I am writing this essay, to help support building a home for a deserving family. A home is a place where there is love, memories are made and safety is important. Love is what you and your family share with each other, like when you're sad or hurt, your family is there to make you feel better. Just like how Habitat for Humanity is helping across Canada and the world by spreading happiness, kindness and everything in between trying to to build homes with families. It is important that a family is patient when their Habitat for Humanity home is being built because it would be worth it in the end. Good memories are what you make in your home because you are with your loved ones. They make you feel good. Some of my best memories happened at home. My dad taught me how to ride my bike and roller blade in my driveway. It’s hard to do that when you don’t have a home, yard or driveway. It’s kind of hard to make friends when you have to move a lot. My mom moved a lot and it was easy to make friends but keeping them was hard. A home is a stable place. You should feel safe when you're at home because you're with your family. If you are scared your home is like a safe haven. It is a place where you can be you and where you can do anything you want to do. The Meaning of Home contest is so important and life changing for deserving families. Special thanks to Habitat for Humanity because they are making a better tomorrow, one house at a time, for families. Lucian Minaker
