At the doorway where love and comfort await, Hugs and kisses are never delayed. Bringing love and warmth to every place, Coming home into your own space. The hallways are filled with pictures and lights, Never boring and always bright. Children are seen running down the hall, Thinking they’re in a huge mall. The living room has a heart so strong, it's a place where you and I belong. Memories and laughter were molded, Into stories that were unfolded. The kitchen is filled with aromas so sweet, But it is still kept tidy and neat. Baking and cooking filled with love and care, Made by hands so bare. The bedroom is always comfy and never blue, It’s almost too good to be true. Filled with trophies and awards, All of them are loved and adored. The closet was used for hide and seek, Getting scared after every creak. Hiding there was always a challenge, But winning made it seem like a talent. The bathroom is kept clean and tidy, And the air freshener makes it smell so heavenly. With towels folded and toilet paper full, The bathroom was awesome, just like a jewel. The basement is where antique items reside, It’s something you should be proud of and never hide. Being a place where you can think about old times, It’s a place where you can chime. The garden is sweet and very calm, It’s almost like hearing the voice of your mom. With flowers blooming and birds humming, It's a place known to be very calming. A home and a house are two different things. A house is structured with four walls and a roof. While a home is made with sweet happy memories from your childhood. And not everyone has one. But everybody deserves a home.
