Meaning of Home

My home is more than a regular old house. It has everything I need and everything I am grateful for. I have a cozy bed that wraps around me like a warm hug. I have good healthy, yummy food that my Mom makes and a silly dog to play with. I have a sister and a funny dad so life is entertaining. My home is not only my house, but it is a place to learn, play and rest. My home also has warmth and happiness. The home that I have and live in is one of my favorite places to be. When at home, I feel grateful and loved. I know home is not just four walls and a bed, it is the center of my universe. I meet new people and visit new places with my delightful, happy family. My family puts in teamwork and hard, tiring effort but we do it to keep the house standing and to help each other. Do not forget that when you are tired, your home is a place to rest and sleep. So if you are tired, happy, disappointed, sad or angry, (any emotion really), you should know that home is the right place to be!
