Everyone Deserves A Home

EVERYONE DESERVES A HOME Everyone deserves a house no matter what! It gives us people to talk to, a sense of comfort and a place to make and keep memories. And Habitat for Humanity can do that! PEOPLE TO TALK TO! Having people to talk to can make you feel at home. Many people usually have others that make them feel at home. Others also need a person to talk to so they can feel at home. Due to loneliness people may not feel at home if they don’t own a house. Examples of people that make you feel at home are: kind neighbours, family members and even shop owners! A SENSE OF COMFORT! Homes can provide a feeling of comfort! When a person has a bad or rough day they usually go to their house to relax their mind. Some people use their homes as a form of therapy! Everyone has a way of being comfortable but homes are the main source of comfort! Examples of places in your house that can give you a sense of comfort are: bedroom, living room, basement, or a quiet spot of your house! A PLACE TO MAKE AND KEEP MEMORIES! Homes can provide memories! Memories are special events! A home can remind someone of their own house, a birthday, Christmas or Halloween! Homes make and keep memories! People without a place to live can make new memories in a new house provided by Habitat for Humanity, and that is the reason why I think everyone deserves a home.
