Home in Canada
An eagle makes its home by weaving twigs and branches. Eagles make their homes in trees by the beach. An eagles home is where chicks are born.
A beaver makes its home in a marshy flood. In the middle of the flood is the beaver's home. It's home is made of sticks and mud. A beaver's home is warm and safe, even in the winter.
In the Canadian waters up north, a big predator is in the water. Orcas are pack hunters that make their home in the cold north ocean.
The bear makes its home in a rocky cave up north. The grizzly's home is made of rocks and it hibernates in there. The grizzly's home is full of fish and berries. The grizzly's home is very different from yours.
Heading south, a small cat has a big home. The house cat. The homes of house cats are warm with couches and chairs. They have food with warm places to sleep.
But in the same home as house cats, humans are there. Human's plant gardens in the summer and harvest them in the fall and winter to eat. My home is a place that is safe. My home is a place that is warm. My home is a place where the fresh baking smells so good.
